Theorganizer, 39-year-old Jack Brewer, was a famous American football player andthe young founder of Jack Brewer Foundation. When he visited China severalyears ago, he got acquaintance with Mr. Li Ruohong, who devoted himself in folkdiplomacy and public welfare course. Since then they jointly conducted seriesof social activities for public good.

During this visit to US, Li Ruohong also attended “MontessoriModel UN”, which organized 9-15 year-old elementary and middle school studentsfrom all over the world to gather in New York twice a year, debating inBrooklyn Marriot Hotel and UN headquarters.

ChinaWorld Peace Foundation led by Li Ruohong gave great support on these twoprojects concerning UN MDG and youth education.

LiRuohong said that he wishes to make contributions to help the world get out ofpoverty, protect the rights of children and women, and advance Chinese folkdiplomacy through public welfare activities.
