On December 12th , the "2023 First Belt&Road·Silk Road Food and Culture Festival" jointly organized by Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation , Beijing Cuisine Association and the Western Mahua Group was held in Beijing, and 100 guests from 30 embassies, diplomats, government officials and representatives from all walks of life participated in the peace and public welfare event.
Dr. Li Ruohong, President of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, Mr.Yun Cheng, President of the Beijing Cuisine Association, and Ms. Mahua, Chairman of the Western Mahua Group delivered speeches and jointly attended the "Belt&Road" International Food Corridor Special Fund Signing Ceremony.
The three signing parties will hold various international public welfare activities related to Silk Road cuisine in different forms and themes from time to time, using the "International Silk Road Food Culture Exchange Center" as a platform to promote Silk Road cuisine and promote peace public welfare both domestically and internationally.
In this event, the performance of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage "China's No.1 Noodle", the Beijing Cuisine and Cooking Performances, and the exhibition of cuisines from various countries won everyone's praises.
