On the afternoon of February 16, a delegation of Beijing Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, headed by Mr.Yan Weiqun, Secretary of its Party group , and Mr.Li Dengxin, vice chairman and secretary general, visited Peace Garden and held cooperation talks with Dr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation.

During the talks,both parties had in-depth exchanges on overseas Chinese exchanges, the international think tank alliance of overseas Chinese, Peace Garden Peace Festival, the international cultural exchange base of China Federation of overseas Chinese, the establishment of a cultural salon including the Silk Road, the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, digital public welfare, volunteer services, and the interaction between overseas Chinese in China and other countries. The two sides expressed their ideas that they would strengthen close cooperation  and create a new model for overseas Chinese affairs and public welfare.

After the talks, the delegation visited the museum and watched the painting exhibition being held by Xu Beihong's descendants.
