In order to assist the Beijing Olympic Games in August 2008, Beijing Archives and Beijing Peace Garden Museum have respectively collected a flag with signatures and words in support of the Beijing Olympic Games from ambassadors of 60 countries in China who were invited by Dr. Li Ruohong, President of China World Peace Foundation.
On November 23 this year, while Beijing Winter Olympic Games were launching, Beijing Peace Garden Museum invited diplomatic envoys’ spouses of 17 countries, including Peru, Brazil, Israel, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Serbia, Japan, India, Germany, Australia, the United States, Singapore, Uruguay, Cuba and Argentina, to attend the Museum event of welcoming Beijing Winter Olympic Games and building " Silk Road" Cultural interaction. The ladies brought with them their own special cuisines from various countries and had warm dance performances during the exchange of sharing peace and friendship.
