On the afternoon of March 21, at the invitation of Pakistan's ambassador to China, Moin UL Haque, President Li Ruohong and his party went to China Puppet Art Theatre to participate in the "world puppet day - Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan and celebrating the civilization and cultural heritage of China and Pakistan". The event is one of the activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. More than 200 people attended the event, including representatives of the Chinese government and social organizations, officials of the UNESCO representative office in China, many envoys to China, and guests from the cultural and academic circles of China and Pakistan.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. On March 2, Pakistani Foreign Minister Qureshi and Chinese State Councilor and foreign minister Wang Yi held the 70th anniversary celebration in Islamabad and Beijing at the same time. Pakistan's embassy in China said it would hold more than 100 activities with China in political, economic, trade, cultural, military and other fields to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The puppet show on March 21 was a highlight of more than 100 celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. Chinese puppet theater is the representative of Chinese puppet art. Rafipel troupe is the top Puppet Troupe in Pakistan. Since its establishment in 1978, it is not only the first troupe in Pakistan to perform modern puppet opera, but also has held 30 International Puppet festivals.

Puppets became the witness of the friendship between the two countries. The two sides exchanged puppets in their respective museums. The Chinese puppet theater sent out such classic puppet images as monkey king and little Dingdang, while rafipel exchanged classic puppets with Pakistani characteristics. China's puppet theater has also signed an agreement with Pakistan's rafipel troupe, which means that there will be more exchanges and cooperation in puppet art between the two countries in the future.
