On the morning of October 14, Ms. Quesada, Minister Counselor of the Cuban Embassy in China, and colleague held friendly talks at the Peace Garden Museum with Dr. Li Ruhong, President of the China World Peace Foundation and the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, on the activities and projects of cooperation between the two countries in this year and next year.
Minister Quesada thanked President Li for his support to Cuba over the years and presented cooperation activities and projects between the two countries before the end of this year and in the next year, including the contribution of the Cuban "Henry Reeve" international medical team in supporting the international fight against the pandemic during this year's new COVID-19 outbreak, as well as cooperation projects in the cultural and public health fields.
Dr. Li said that the Sino-Cuban friendship has historic and special status, and the two countries can revitalize medical & health care and culture & arts in the peace public welfare under the Belt & Roads Initiative, forming branded projects with international influence.
