People Net/China Development Gateway Net News: On April 22, at the suggestion of foreign dignitaries, international experts and foreign media from Egypt, Africa, Arab and American countries, Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation held the first online video series forum of "Peace + 1, Shared Destiny&Sustainable Development".
With the theme of "International Cooperation &The Coronavirus Crisis", the Forum focused on the future of international cooperation, the impact of the coronavirus crisis, supporting the international community to fight against the spread of the virus, economic cooperation and bilateral relations between Egypt and China, aiming at strengthening international cooperation, achieving sustainable and peaceful development and promoting dialogue among civilizations and cultures.

Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of China World Peace Foundation and President of Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, presided over the video forum. In his speech, he said that NGOs in different countries have, in different ways, displayed the humanitarian spirit and life-saving actions worthy of world respect in people's diplomacy, scientific research cooperation, cultural exchanges, emergency rescue and protection of the rights and interests of women and children.

Li Ruohong pointed out that NGOs have been offered the opportunity by many countries and regions to serve the world in fighting against the virus. China World Peace Foundation has donated medical rescue supplies to Pakistan, Japan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Mali, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Chile, Haiti, Spain, the Arab league and UNESCO's representative office in China.

H.E.Xiao Junzheng, Chinese Embassy Minister to Egypt, said that China and Egypt, as ancient civilizations, have had long-standing exchanges and friendly relations.
