On May 3rd, 2019, more than 40 students and teachers from the University of Alberta Business School visited the “Belt and Road Ambassador Village” and Beijing Peace Garden Museum with people-to-people exchanges as its core. After that, they learned China’s NGOs’ international public welfare model and their development status. After listening to the reports of Chinese experts and scholars on the development of the “Belt and Road” Initiative, the youth representatives from more than a dozen countries actively discussed the interaction with the theme of “Mutual learning”. The youth representatives have greatly affirmed and praised China's influence in the international community and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation’s contribution to international education exchanges and development of “Belt and Road”. They all said that they will know more about China in the future, and participate in the ranks of peace cause, public welfare and global economic cooperation and sharing with the Foundation. The University of Alberta of Canada has cooperated with China World Peace Foundation and Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation for fifteen years of cooperation and has established the China-Canada International Studies Center. Each year, various forms of peace and education activities are held in cooperation.
