From June 12 to June 14, under the support of the Hokkaido government of Japan, and the Chinese Consulate-General in Sapporo (Japan), a friendship golf club delegation comprised of Li Ruohong, president of China World Peace Foundation, and overseas Chinese from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, U.S., Canada, Australia, Japan, and Singapore was invited to attend the Japan-China Golf Exchanges Conference and participated in a friendly golf match with renown Japanese entrepreneurs.

Li Ruohong said in his remarks that this year marks the 40th anniversary of the conclusion of the Sino-Japanese Treaty of Peace and Friendship and China’s Reform and Opening Up. The development of China-Japan relationship has witnessed both good cooperation and setbacks, but the friendly exchanges among peoples never cease. There are still many bilateral and multilateral cooperative opportunities and big development potentials for China and Japan’s collaboration on the Belt and Road. The regional peace and stability relies on joint efforts of friendly personages in various social sectors from both countries.
