On April 24, the China-Canada "Belt and Road" Business Cooperation Meeting was held in Beijing. Mr. Doug Horner, president of Canada Asia Synergy Group, and representatives of Canadian entrepreneurs joined Li Ruohong, president of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation, and dozens of Chinese entrepreneurs to exchange ideas on related projects and explore the potential and feasibility of cooperation between China and Canada in multiple fields.

Mr. Horner said that in recent years, he has been paying attention to the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation's public welfare projects and the development of Chinese enterprises. During this visit to China, he hoped to enhance mutual understanding under the framework of the “Belt and Road Initiative” and discussed cooperation in the fields of architecture, materials, and technology.
Dr. Li Ruohong elaborated on the current common interests and needs of the Chinese people and Canadians with regard to "Belt and Road" development, especially the prospects of building cultural towns, trade interconnection, and precision poverty alleviation. (Wu Peihe)
