On 9th,Nov.,2015, Mr.Xu Jianguo, the secretary general of CPECC headed a delegation to visit Gwadar under the invitation of Gwadar Development Authority(GDA).At the office of GDA, Mr. Xu introduced to the Director General of GDA about the functions of CPECC as a platform in promoting economic and cultural development of both countries and in helping the big&medium size Chinese enterprises to invest overseas. Mr. Xu also introduced  the advantages of COMPLANT to operate EPC projects as a state-owned enterprise and the implementing power of cooperating with CPECC to integrate  the advantages of all the best Chinese enterprises in most of the industries.The Director General of GDA introduced to the delegation about the Pakistani Government’s blueprint of constructing Gwadar into a world class smart city ,which is also the proposal of Pakistani Prime Minister.The Gwadar Development Authority sincerely invites CPECC to participate in the process of Smart City construction of Gwadar, to act as a partner in planning, constructing and providing after-service. The ideal is to construct Gwadar into an exclusive top class world Smart City.
