On Oct.1-2, the FIM (Football Is More), under the patronage of the prince of Liechtenstein, held the 5th International Forum in Switzerland.
The annual convention was attended by CWPF, leaders of renowned European football clubs and foundations, representatives of UN, European Paralympic Committee and other international organizations, along with professionals. Through speeches, dialogues, symposiums, concerts and university seminars, the participants addressed non-profit issues of peaceful development, inclusiveness, care for the younger generation and handicapped people in poverty-stricken areas, solutions for regional conflicts, racial discrimination and refugee problems, etc. with emphasis on social responsibility. Dr. Li Ruohong, Chairman of CWPF and President of BIPCF pointed out in the forum: “Over the past 16 years, participating in various activities and forums in golf, table tennis, tennis, football, CWPF has integrated traditional Chinese culture with advanced civilizations of various countries, demonstrated new ideals of sport in China, supported underdeveloped countries and vulnerable groups, helped alleviate regional conflicts and made friends from all over the world, who share social responsibility with us.”
CWPF would cooperate with UN and FIM in professional assessment, coach training, inter-museum exchanges, training camp for handicapped athletes, etc., in a bid to develop football market in China and share international social responsibility.
