Canadian delegation visits Peace Garden MuseumOn May 19th, 2013, Mr. DougHorner, Financial Minister of Alberta, and Prof. Edy Huang, Assistant Dean ofBusiness School of Alberta University, led an EMBA student delegation to visitChina World Peace Garden and Peace Garden Museum. Prof. Li Ruohong, Chairman ofChina World Peace Foundation, met with the delegation and made a report. Onthis report, Prof. Li Ruohong and Minister Doug Horner discussed aboutChina-Canada economic policy research and development prospect. The situationand development of NGOs in China, social responsibilities and influence ofpublic welfare organizations and other issues were also touched upon. Afterheated discussions, the students enjoyed the performances of Beijing Opera andKongfu Tea. Leaders of Chinese economic and financial sections, NDRC, andprivate enterprises also attended this meeting and talked about China-Canadarelationship in economy and culture.
